The Aguia Dourada Academy has a tradition more of 58 years in the Jiu-Jitsu school in the state of Minas Gerais, founded in 1958 by Master Mozart Souza, Red Belt 9th Degree Jiu-Jitsu and a Black Belt 5th Dan Judo, where emerged as champion Marcelo Garcia.

The academy has affiliates throughout Brazil, in the cities of Formiga, Bom Despacho, Lagoa da Prata, Colombia (Sao Paulo), Brasilia, Rio Grande do Sul, Colômbia country, Uganda, Ethiopia and Cape Town (South Africa).
Currently the gym is chaired and coordinated by the son of master Mozart Souza, the Black Coral 7th Degree Jiu-Jitsu, 5th Dan Judo, and Black Kruang 2nd Degree Muay-Thai, FABIANO SOUZA, who is also president of the FJJ-MG (Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Minas Gerais).

The master Fabiano Souza, in addition to his extensive resume, was also representative of the Alliance team in Minas Gerais, moving shortly after to represent and to train with Leo Castello Branco, so there was a crack in the Rio de Janeiro team. Castello Branco is black belt from the master Fernando Pinduka, consisting of Grand Master Carlson Gracie Sr., one of the sports icons.
It was in Rio staff to be promoted to black belt by his father, Red Belt 9th Degree Master Mozart, and also concurrently at black belt Leo Castello Branco.
